Wendy wanted to open a jazz bar in Brooklyn. For me, bar is more private, and also a place show its owner’s trait. So I used one word in her Chinese name “Reed” to name the bar and at the same time, chose script of “Reed’s” to be the main idea of the logo.  I combined the clef with the “s” to show the music element. I designed the logo in a relax and joyful way, aim to attract people who love jazz to come in and enjoy music and wine together. There’s also the designof business card and letterhead for the whole series.
